If the collar does get wet, simply use a soft, damp cloth to gently pat it dry as soon as possible. Exercise caution around the nameplate to prevent scratching. PREVENT CHEWING Ensure your dog does not chew on the leather collar. It is not constructed to endure constant chewing and may become damaged rapidly if subjected to such stress. CARING OF YOUR LEATHER COLLAR Immediately clean any mud, sand, dirt, or stains that come into contact with the collar to prevent permanent discoloration. If you have multiple leather collars for your dog, consider rotating them to distribute wear evenly and extend their lifespan. APPLY LEATHER CONDITIONER To preserve the softness and suppleness of the leather, apply a high-quality leather conditioner every 3-6 months. Neglecting to condition the leather may result in it becoming stiff and brittle. Additionally, conditioning will shield the leather from dirt and stains. Leather conditioners are readily available at specialty retailers. PROPER STORAGE Store your leather collar in a cool, dry location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, which can cause cracking and drying. Proper storage will enhance the collar’s longevity and maintain its premium quality over time. MAINTAIN CLEANLESS By adhering to these care guidelines, your leather collar will not only retain its luxurious appearance but will also become more refined and comfortable for your pet with each use. When cleaning leather, always use products specifically formulated for this material. Avoid harsh chemicals or cleaners, as they may damage the leather. Opt for oils designed for leather maintenance to ensure your collar remains in pristine condition and continues to offer both elegance and durability for your beloved companion.

As our products aren't homemade, we're unable to repair any damage caused by chewing or wear and tear. For safety and care reasons, we recommend items that can be eaten or cause harm be kept away from dogs when they're not under your supervision.
